To support the Legal & Compliance department in Dubai, we are looking for a

 

Head Legal & Compliance MEA & India (w/m/x)

Your Responsibilities

  • You build partnerships with in-country compliance liaisons, business, and functional stakeholders to support the implementation of governance framework and ensure alignment between legal/compliance and business strategies
  • You provide legal and compliance support for Middle East region, Africa, India, Pakistan and Turkey and function as a part of the executive team in this region​​​​​​
  • You proactively identify areas for business process enhancements and of non-compliance with legal requirements, regulatory guidelines, company policies, and/or written standards
  • You function as a subject matter expert on regional legal and compliance issues
  • You conduct thorough and timely reviews and analysis of various company records, functions and processes
  • You contribute to the development and implementation of compliance strategies to ensure the company’s values and ethical standards; providing in-person training where appropriate
  • You provide advice and interpretation of the company's code of conduct, relevant laws and regulations, compliance policies, relevant health industry regulations, and industry codes
  • You support the execution and remediation of Compliance Audits within the region

Your Profile

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Health Care, Bio Science, Legal, Government, or other applicable field
  • You possess a Masters/Doctorate Degree in Law
  • You possess long term legal and compliance experience
  • You have very good English speaking and writing skills
  • You have experience with the interpretation and application of compliance-related laws and regulations
  • You have working knowledge of compliance-related laws and regulations, including those related to anti-corruption
