Compliance Audit Manager (f/m/d)

Your Tasks

  • Manage the enhancement of company's global compliance audit and monitoring program 
  • Assist your direct supervisor  in the development and presentation to the Chief Compliance Officer and the Global Risk and Compliance Committee an Annual Auditing and Monitoring Plan of the company's subsidiaries and third parties based on an appropriate risk-based methodology 
  • Ensure effective execution of the Annual Auditing and Monitoring Plan by conducting and/or overseeing the performance of corporate and third party compliance audits and monitoring activities and effectively document and reporting findings
  • Support the business and other functions in implementing suitable corrective and remedial actions in response to problem areas identified in the audits and monitoring assessments
  • Assist with the provision of periodic reports to the Chief Compliance Officer and the Global Risk and Compliance Committee on the status of the Annual Auditing and Monitoring Plan, summary of findings, and the implementation of remedial measures 
  • Build partnerships with Regional Compliance Officers, business, and functional stakeholders to assist in the implementation and enhancement of the company's global Compliance Program
  • Support investigations of reported compliance-related issues and partner with other gate-keeper functions including Regional Compliance Officers, HR, and Legal to ensure reported concerns are promptly and thoroughly investigated
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare compliance rules, regulations, enforcement trends, and industry standards

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Business Management, Finance, Law or other applicable field
  • Masters/Doctorate Degree in Law or certified  as an internal auditor (CIA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or other similar professional certifications
  • Several years of compliance experience 
  • Working experience with audits within medical device, pharmaceutical or life sciences industry 
  • Experience with public accounting firm would be a plus 
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills in English and German  – an additional European language is a benefit 
  • Ability to interact well at all organization levels and to collaborate with a team 
  • Ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis 
  • Ability to lead a team of auditors, supervise and develop staff if needed 
  • Working knowledge of standard business software (Microsoft Office) 
  • Ability to use data analytics tools (e.g., ACL, IDEA) is a plus 
  • Meeting the stakeholders onsite requires the flexibility to travel a minimum of 30%
